Caim is a top-down action-adventure game for the C64. It balances action,
exploration and puzzles with an emphasis on the narrative.
You, an unnamed player, wake up in a strange place without any recollection of
how you got there. Explore the facility, avoid deadly hazards and uncover
mysteries. As you learn more about the place, the world and yourself, you get
ever closer to putting together all the clues and reaching the exit.
The music tracks are by unknown composers from HVSC. The story was inspired by
The Talos Principle. Use joystick in port 2 to play.

Here are a couple of tips that can help if you are stuck:
- Check your map frequently. The map is opened by pressing fire.
- The security doors are colour-coded. Level 1 doors are cyan, level 2 doors
are purple and level 3 doors are blue. All the same-level doors open at the
same time when the corresponding security terminal is visited. The red
doors open when the power is restored.
Walkthrough for the beginning section (warning: spoilers):
1. You wake up in C-2 (Rollout Room). The first thing to do is to restore the
power.
2. Go up to C-1, then right to D-1 (Storage Room 1). There is a locked grey
door which needs a key.
3. Go down to D-2 (Generator Room), the generator is missing a fuse. Pick up
the key.
4. Go back to storage room 1, unlock the door and pick up the fuse.
5. Go back to the generator room and turn the generator on. All the red doors
will open.
6. Go back to C-1 and read the note.
7. Make your way to A-1 (Security Station 1) and interact with the blinking
terminal. This will open all the level 1 doors (cyan).
Further hints (warning: more spoilers)
- Security station 2 is at A-2, but you will need the wire cutters from D-3 (Storage Room 2) to get to it.
- Security station 3 is at F-4.
- To extend the bridge in E-3, you need to pull the lever located in A-4 (Control Room).
- To make a bomb to break the weak wall in B-5, you need some coal, sulfur and saltpeter.
- Coal is in F-1 (Storage Room 3).
- Sulfur is in F-5 (Plant Room), but first you need the mask from E-2.
- Saltpeter can be found in D-1 (Storage Room 1).
- Craft a bomb on the workbench in F-3 (Workshop).
- The code for the final door is scattered around the rooms.
Try to remember the colours as you visit those rooms during the game.
