THE GAME
Somewhere in China lie the Jade Mines of the forgotten Pong dynasty. Their
location is known only to a local miner, by the name of Wally — and a few
hundred creatures who have taken up residence in the abandoned workings.
Wally must brave the perils of the mines in a search for treasure, and the
keys that unlock the next, more difficult level.
But the path is not easy. Apart from chasms and collapsing floors, Wally must
also cope with conveyor belts, moving floors and laser beams. Lasers in a
mine? — oh, why not!). Thirty levels await Wally as he stands at the
entrance, each inhabited by strangely familiar creatures.
Will Wally live up to his name, or can he reach the secret at the bottom of
the mine? Are those really pac-men on legs? Who is Chrissypoos, and why is he
so fond of VU-meters? Where did all those hover-mowers come from? Who is that
evil man in the dragster? Why has Horace gone walkabout? Can anything be done
about Jumping Jeff? Who knows? (Who cares?) Only the China Miner can find
out — possibly!
