CONTROLS
[F1] key: Starts the game.
[F7] key: Launches the ball.
[C=] key: Left Flipper.
[CRSR LEFT/RIGHT] key: Right Flipper.
CHASING A HIGH SCORE
The rules of pinball are simple - keep
the ball in play as long as possible and
rack up as many points as you can.
In this implementation of the game, the
machine doesn't eat coins - and no
matter how much you shove and pull on
the flippers, there is no danger of
getting the dreaded 'TILT' message.
You start with a maximum of 5 balls.
So on you go...
As with a real pinball machine, a little
time and care and thought can add points
to your game.
Don't hit the flippers everytime the
ball gets near - try and catch the ball,
let it come to rest, then bash it back
into play with an aimed shot.
Real can also increase their score
considerably by letting the bonus value
on the dial build up before collecting
the bonus value with a well aimed shot
through the bonus value feature.
GENERAL
The Bonus Dial is situated just above
the flippers, the number lights up as
you build up your bonuses. If 'SPECIAL'
is lit up when your ball goes into the
bonus trap, you are awarded an extra
ball.
In the bonus trap there are 3 gates, you
score 10 points each time you revolve
the first game, same for the second gate
and you will need some good flipping to
get right into the trap, where bonus
points are an abundance.
The 3 lanes at the top of the table are
revolver lanes, putting the ball through
one of these earns 50 points and lights
up the lane light, light all 3 lane
lights and you score 200 and advance the
Bonus Dial by 400 points.
Note, Flipping the flippers shuffles the
lights, so you can get an unlit light in
a lane just before the ball rolls
through it.
The Black Hole is just below these
lanes, nestle the ball in here to
collect 200 points and advance the Bonus
Dial by 300 points.
Surrounding the Black Hole are 3
bumpers, each time you bounce a ball
from them you score 10 points.
The Hairpin is situated in the centre
just below the bumpers, whizz the ball
round this mini Wall of Death as fast as
you can - the faster the ball travels,
the more points you earn up to a maximum
of 200 with an advance of 300 points on
the Bonus Dial.
Tombstone Targets are situated to the
right of the Hairpin, knock down target
one for 100 points and a Bonus Dial
advance of 100 points. Target two will
collect for you 200 points, and advances
200 on the Bonus Dial. Target Three gets
you 300 points and an advance on the
Bonus Dial of 300 points. Drop the ball
into the Target Pit at the end of the
channel to reset the Tombstones and
start again.
Sidebar Lights are worth 60 points a
pop. Light the set of 6 and collect 400
points and an advance on the Bonus Dial
by 500 points.
Inner Rollover Lanes - These are the
lanes to the left and right of the
flippers, if the light is lit when the
ball passes through, the Bonus Dial is
Boshed up by 100 points.
Outer Rollover Lanes - These are the
lanes outside the inner lanes, (logical)
Pretty lights glow when the SPECIAL
light has been lit. With the light lit,
snuggling the ball down here earns a
whopping 2,500 points.
