SLALOM puts you in control of a skier.
The objective is to get as many points
as possible by clearing the gates on
each of the six courses within the
allotted time limit. It's not just a
matter of fast, precise skiing - trees
and rocks may prove to be a threat to
your life! Later on, as the slopes
become more and more challenging, you
will have to steer away from incautious
rabbits and pay attention to the trail
becoming icy.

CONTROLS
--------
SLALOM is designed to be used with
JOYSTICKS, or the KEYBOARD. Plug your
joystick into CONTROL PORT 1, or simply
use the keyboard.
JOYSTICK
--------
Press the FIRE BUTTON twice to start a
one player game.
Push the joystick to the RIGHT to move
your skier to the RIGHT. Push your
joystick to the LEFT to move to the
LEFT.
Press the FIRE BUTTON on your joystick
to go faster. Release it to slow down.
KEYBOARD
--------
Press F1 to start the game.
Press F1 or F3 to choose between
one or two players game.
Press the letter "L" to move your skier
to the LEFT. Press the semi-colon key
(;) to move to the RIGHT.
Pressing the letter "A" makes the skier
accelerate. Releasing the letter slows
him down.
SCORING
-------
Depending on how fast you reach and
clear the next gate, you may get from
100 to 900 points. Missing a gate or
crashing resets the combo counter.
Additional bonus points are awarded by
crossing the finish line. The bonus is
based on how well you cleared the gates
along that stage.
Pay attention! By skipping gates you
will get a 5 seconds penalty.

[F9] - quick load game state
[F12] - quick save game state (still stored after leaving the site)
[F11] - toggle fullscreen mode
